thanks hairbutt! plastino wasn't on my radar. I guess whenever i saw his work i assumed i was looking at wayne "king of the wide torso" boring. but looking at plastio's superman, there are subtle differences. especially in the face. his famous (that i didn't know about) superman/kennedy story, which he considered his greatest achievement, might be stolen! i love me a good comic book controversy i do www.nationalenquirer.com/celebrity/historic-jfk-superman-art-auction-may-be-stolen  |

From what I remember, Plastino worked more on Superboy than he did Superman. He drew the first appearance of the Legion as well< which is a biggie for me.
