Final episode of the season! Stalled regeneration! The last person you would expect to see guest starring in the X-Mas Special! New Doctor. I hop we're all happy? I am!

I loved that last episode. It left me really excited about the Christmas episode. Then there was that announcement that the 13th Doctor would have a uturus. No one in my family is happy. I was personally hoping Richard Ayoade would get it. At least then, we would have had a quirky Doctor in the same mold as past regenerations.
Of course, I thought Tennant was too good looking and Matt Smith was too young and they changed my mind. This is a big hurdle to overcome. Chibnall better not half ass it like everyone says he did with that last season of broadchurch. The writing needs to be the best it's been in years and she had better deliver a performance that puts Matt Smith to shame.
I can't miss the Christmas special because 12 will be meeting 1, so when Capaldi regenerates into her, she will have a very narrow window to impress me.

I always sort of hoped they'd bring in paul mcgann, just for shits & giggles.
if the doctor has a uterus he's better be carrying it around with him. a gurl doctor? jezus, why not just make him a talkin' dog?
it's not her sausages he's smelling!!

The last series of Broadchurch had brilliant reviews, you're not thinking of the second series?

It's probably the second series. Honestly, I've never watched Broadchurch, so I'm just going by what I've read. There are a lot of people with more trepidation about Chibnall than the female Doctor.
MH, I showed my daughter that video and she agrees that talking dog would have been the best option.

David Tennant is perfect.
