well, 'modern' was charlton comics "3 in a bag title" and the 2 peacemaker comics I currently have are both 'moderns'. and i have one 'modern' 'house of yang'! i have spent many sleepless nights, putting on endless pots of hot coffee with babu baboon freaking out about how yang could easily take out both marvel's 'master of kung fu' and dc's 'kung fu fighter', and i'm fairly certain that he once killed a man who talked bad about 'house of yang'.
okay, all this is a slight exaggeration. korean artist sanho kim did a great job here! he is considered (quote) the first artist working in a manhwa style to be published regularly in the United States. whatever that means, I love his work! very clean and eye catching, it reminds me of golden age comics
