good evening gamers of all ages. my first tasty tidbit is "six days a sacrifice" the forth and final freeware "chzo mythos" game from 2008, that looks like it was made in '92. in it, and all the others, a gentleman thief named 'trilby' breaks into a mansion, complex, or space station, and it turns out to be over-run with psychos, dead people, or ghouls, depending on the game. and it falls to him to save himself, a gurl, some playboys, and in this one all of mankind. believe me or believe me not, this particular one is occasionally pretty friggin terifying. by this forth installment, he has got into the chzo's or whatever's bidness too many times and has been marked for death & is pursued in his dreams, so escape is really no option. i played them all, but this one is the best. it's easy to find a walkthru online if you get stuck. it's a small program & easy to run. you can download it from this link

thanks pal! i'll definitely give it a try. i've been playing 'knights & merchants" and "betrayal at knondor" off & on for years! they're both endlessly fascinating. whenever i start playing "knights" again, my daughter gets upset. "nooo! stop playing the little men!"
