babu, remember back when we 'played g-d' with lou diamond phillips career on ranker? those were heady times as desk-boy used to say. we were drunk with power! allowed one vote a day, we buried both the 'young guns' movies which had both ranked high, and made "bats" & "route 666" one & two in his canon of his films! imagine if a 'route 666' sequel got made on the weight of this poll. mind-boggling. I think we should to the same thing for "asian lou diamond phillips", also known as dean cain. his #1 movie? 'the dog who saved christmas' of course. we owe it to asian lou diamond phillips, easily the 27th best superman of all time, to set things straight

OK, I put my vote in for "The Dog Who Saved Christmas". This is a tough one, since Dean Cain hasn't actually been in any good movies. You know your career's in trouble when Corbin Bernsen gets billing before you. That guy hasn't done a movie that wasn't produced by the Hallmark channel since the last Major League film!

wow yer right, he ain't giving us much to work with. "dog that saved x-mas" has moved from 28th or so, to the top 10! looks like's done some of the sci-fi channel movies that lou diamond phillips probably turned down. 'artic predator' (also called 'frost giant') might make a good #2 -- ah, I give corbin bernsen a pass. he was roughly these guys ages before anyone knew who he was. and not only was in 'tales from the hood', but he worked with bruce campbell! which quadruples his street cred

And now to 5! we're gunna have to move the sequel "the dog who saved our vacation" upwards too. I'm not makin' it up, it's real, I just now noticed it! but dean's career is on the upswing I think. it looks liek he's fattening up for one of them "the santa clause" movies! maybe for the lifetime channel. or their doing a legion of super-heroes movie & he's trying out for bouncing boy

Is it bad of me to say that I once dated a guy because he reminded me of Dean Cain...and even got said guy to strike the "fists on hips" Superman pose for me?
Yeah, I didn't think so. 
Anyway...
I've never seen "The Dog Who Saved Christmas"...is it truly as bad as I'm thinking it is?

Looks like The Dog Who Saved Christmas is ranking pretty high right now, as is The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation.
Alas, The Dog Who Saved Halloween is still near the tail-end of the list! Something must be done about this!

OMG! I just found out through Wikipedia that there is ANOTHER one of them damn "Dog Who Saved..." movies that isn't on the list!!! It's called The Dog Who Saved the Holidays, and it was released in 2012. I tried to add it to Ranker, but the site wouldn't let me sign up. If any of you has an account, add the movie, and we'll get that one up to the top of the list, too!
