On a side note...the short boots (I can tell by the way the bottom of his pants look) are kinda throwing me off. They seem a bit too chunky for the rest of the look...not to mention they look a bit too shiny. |

i think i know just what you guys are looking for!!
 this pic of the suit looks a lot better (2 me) than the one above:
the jacket is lighter in this pic, and there's a lavender tie that was imperceptible in the one above. and there's a double albert watch-fob chain! nifty!!!! that certainly helps, BUT I STILL WANNA SEE A SCARF!

The suit you're looking at in the pic above, with the fob, is the 11th Doctor's suit. I like the new one. For some reason it reminded me of the 1st Doctor.

damn! shows how observant I am.  maybe they're going for a first doctor look, something edwardian. i can't imagine capaldi in anything too outlandish like the 6th doctor, but I'd like to see some sort of nod to past doctor-dom. why not this? all autumn colors -- he looks good!
