i had to remove 6 inches of snow off my car to go get superbowl snacks! i'm staying home for this one, and no guests besides the family. i'll need a few beers to fully enjoy arnold's commercial, which'll probably be the highlight of super bowl XLVIII

I'm not a sports guy, so when I was in advertising I only ever watched it for the commercials.
The wife and kid have Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl on right now. I think I'm going to get diabetes.

whew! little girls love baby animals! if you have a girl, there's no getting away from it. my girl is nine, but she still wants every pillow-pet, or seat-belt pet, or whatever they advertise on TV. i've been watching the pre-show. i'm not a football guy either, but i enjoy the history. i'm recording it for the commercials

I really liked the Coke ad. Surprised at the controversy given the Us is supposed to be multi-ethnic and multicultural.

Coke's ad is also being criticised here, but only because Coke doesn't have a pristine reputation in some parts of the country due to conflicts with workers/unions.
It's why Coke's marketing campaigns in here tend to differ from their campaigns in other countries - very localized. Everytime there's noise with the unions and activists, they release a new campaign (the most recent one is something called "President of Happiness," where they picked a stereotypical teenager and his equally market-tested friends and had them answering "letters from the Filipino youth." on their commercials.
