I love hearing about all the tweets from reporters commenting on all the Sochi weirdness like crappy hotel rooms, hordes of stray dogs roaming the streets, yellow, possibly poisonous tap-water, and stalls in restrooms where you have to... share the experience.

Holy crap. Nice work, Putin. Australia's big hope of snowboarding gold, Torah Bright, didn't do so well. Why she hasn't cracked big time sponsorship (other than with Australian surf brand Roxy) with her looks is a little beyond me: ![]()  |

Anyway, Australia got a medal yesterday, finally.
Oh, and in the halfpipe, did you see that Flying Tomato guy placed fourth. Some Russian born dude who does a thing called "YOLO" (You Only Live Once) involving two backflips and two twists won. A 15 year old Japanese kid got bronze.

a very damn scary event! america's shaun white pulled a damn bodie miller on us & failed to get his 3rd gold metal in the sport, although he was the favorite
