how is everyone holding up? I read a headline that 49 out of 50 states currently have snow (hawaii is safe, i'm guessing). how are things in your respective areas? babu, do you have power? here in illinois i woke up to find another several inches are in the process of getting dumped on us. the snow's no fun anymore

Things are good. Me, the wifey, and the cat went shopping for 3 weeks worth of groceries, so we should outlast being boxed in this year.
Tool shed is leaking though, I'll fix it when I'm feeling handy enough.

We just got through a bad patch. My kid was out all week because of it. Today's the first day she was back and it was only a half day!
We didn't lose power. Probably because we thought ahead and got plenty of gas for the generator. I'm sure if we hadn't, it would have gone out.

We had a few days of snow. I put chains on my little car and made it to work every day. My wife did miss three days of work which is a bit of a kick in the head when the bills need to be paid anyway.

I turned the wrong way while doing stuff in the yard and it popped out of place. Now I've got a couple of torn meniscus.

i don't even know what those are! knees will screw you up! i had some kind of crap going on in with my knee, but luckily it 99% cleared up on it's own after several months. my former boss got gout in one knee, which caused him to put too much weight on the other knee, and it damaged something. he's about 5'7" and 350 lbs. he's like a black version of 'the thing'! they did surgery and he said it was only about 20 minutes, and he's fine now

Maybe you could get some bionic knees. Fight crime and rescue damsels in distress!

Maybe you could get some bionic knees. Fight crime and rescue damsels in distress! I could use my bionic knee to knee bad guys in the nads as Nad-Knee-er man! "Take that, Joker!" "Ugh! I miss Batman!"

They can also attach a 4G router to your bionic knees, so that everywhere you go you can spread free broadband internet like some kind of Wi-Fi jesus.
