i just had to fight a bat! a bat!! jezus! i had to hit him about 100 times with a broom & whatever else I could lay my hands on! and now he's out twitching around in the snow! he looked just like this picture! I tell you, I'll never look at batman the same again. I was so afraid I'd get bitten & have to get tested for rabies, and/or vampirism!

They're rodents who sold their soul to Satan in exchange for the gift of flight.  that's friggin hilarious! so crazy it must be true. and yeah, an exterminator was just here on tuesday checking for termites! there are a lot of old houses with attics out here, and that's where they like to hibernate. this b-stard must have woke up early! unless he got in from somewhere else. I've heard they don't get exterminated, they set up something where they can get out, but not back in. however that works. i still got the beebie jeebies, i'll tell you! maybe it happened because I've been dissing on ben affleck so bad

Those things can carry a lot of different diseases, including Histoplasmosis which affects your lungs. Glad you got it out without getting bitten.

i'm glad I was the only one home. it went up into the sky-light in the kitchen, I guess because it was the highest point. I threw everything I could find at it & missed! finally it starting flying around again. it was circling the living room like a toy plane! i opened all the doors, but it wouldn't go out. i knew I had to do something before it got dark & before the wife & kid got back home! what a freak-out that would've been

The worst I've ever had was a bird fly down the chimney into the house. you reach a point where you're at a level of maturity where you feel like you are somewhat equipped to deal with most situations. i'm standing around with a broom in my hands, all the doors open, snow blowing in, and yelling, "i don't know what to do!" over & over. I looked out earlier & he's gone. either he's buried in snow, or the cold resuscitated him and he's upside down in a tree looking thru a window, his little red eyes glaring at me with hate |

When I was a kid, I was once visiting my friend's farm when his dad opened up a grain elevator, and out flew a bat -- which landed on my head! It flew away after a couple of seconds, but it freaked me out.
The very next Halloween I was, of course, The Bat-Man.
