We've got a couple of Popeyes out here, but I haven't had Popeyes chicken since I was a kid. So I don't remember what it's like. Isn't it spicy?

Sounds like me. Every time I go on a diet, my mother-in-law starts the process of my undoing by bringing over a bucket of KFC.
and there's a popeye's chicken out here, and i hadn't seen one in years. i was going there every other day for a while
Spicy white meat with red beans and rice and a biscuit...and I'll take an orange drink with that! ...I am almost in the car already!

Eating out can be expensive. Still I'll try Popeyes next time I go out to eat.

Eating out can be expensive. Still I'll try Popeyes next time I go out to eat. you won't be disappointed! unless you don't like fried chicken. it's a real thing for me. i even keep a bunch of those crappy banquet chicken tv dinners in the freezer. what the hell's the matter with me?
see, this b-stard wasn't using his brain. you got to go thru & feel/test the weight before you buy them to get a decent piece of chicken. some of them feel almost empty, some of them feel like there's a damn brick inside! thems the ones you want
this asian guy's video backs me up

I like those Hungry Man dinners. You always get plenty of food with them.

Maybe I just had a bad experience at one of the local chain restaurants, but I'll never eat at Church's Chicken again. I was expecting to eat a few pieces of juicy chicken with a crispy shell, but instead I got an extremely hard, tough-to-chew shell with a dried-out chicken inside. It was very off-putting. Even the guy who worked there was apologetic about the poor quality of their chicken and admitted without much prompting that he didn't like it enough to eat it. I should have taken that as a warning, but man, I was hungry that day. That was a few years ago, so I hope things have improved.

If the man behind the counter apologizes when serving you, it's not a good sign.

Or if the waiter says "Oh! I didn't know we had that on the menu!"

Then he gives you a rueful look, shaking his head as he walks off

dang, that's disappointing. they probably started going cheap on the ingredients at some point. unless the experience has polluted fried chicken for you forever, you might want to try popeye's. oh, and if you do a microwave dinner, please remove the plastic wrap before cooking. when microwaving, that sh-t rains toxins down on your food. I guess the container isn't great either, but it isn't quite as bad. i also have heard that all the plastic packaging for foods & water screws with our testosterone level and is slowly turning us into girlies -- but that could be paranoia

That explains everything. I've started eating a lot of ready-made food this past month, and have started getting erections everytime a One Direction music video is shown on TV.
