Sometimes, when actresses who aren't really martial artists do action scenes, especially when paired with a choreographer who isn't doing his job right, the action isn't all that impressive. You can watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer or that street Fighter movie with Kristin Kreuk as examples. You can't see any power in their blows so it kinda looks like they're just dancing.
I blame it all on the choreographer as it has nothing to do with the built of the actors (Jet Li is a really small guy but he looks impressive in fight scenes)
This woman, though. Way, way better. Of course, MMA has already spoiled everything and you don't expect these types of fights to happen in real life, but she's very convincing and it looks like she's really hurting those stunt people.

check out 1:26 - 1:28! She hit that woman so hard her protective vest disintegrated!
