Saw it. It's a nice Christmas episode. A little light on the Christmas, but a good amount of the scares. I loved the "There's a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you" bit.
The old Clara makeup was laughable. But dream Danny Pink was awesome. I've been very vocal about my dislike of the character, but I like the line about only saving Clara, the rest was just a side effect. I wish Danny was that awesome alive instead of coming off as insecure and manipulative. (Of course, it was just Clara's dream so it's not the real Danny, just who Danny was according to Clara.)
The bit that struck me about the episode is the chalkboard message, and the scene with the crew rising up on the table while they were still covered in blankets. It brought back scenes from the episode where the doctor and Clara visited young Danny Pink: while the doctor was thinking about his theoretical invisible creatures, somebody wrote on a chalkboard (it was explained that it was the doctor who wrote it absent-mindedly, as per the cup discussion with the utility man, but it seemed like a good throwback) The creature in Danny's bed was also shaped like someone with an alien on its head covered in a blanket, slowly rising.
The doctor also woke up in a set similar to where Clara stranded him while asking him to bring back Danny pink (the mouth of a volcano?) Although to be fair it looks like the same set used when he entered his timeline and met the war doctor. With their budget constraints, it's not surprising that they'd reuse scenes and sets.
...and the dream crabs, how did it manage to attack specific targets in different parts of the world? It seems too small of an invasion and highly targeted for a non-intelligent parasitic creature. the doctor said it tracked Clara through him, but what about the other victims?
Of course, Moffat isn't the writer for the Christmas special and an entire season turning out to be just a dream is a massive cop out so I'm probably just recognizing patterns where there are none.

I thought for a minute there that this might be the last we see of Clara when we saw old Clara. Nice fake out. Since there was some question at one point whether or not she would return, I could see where writers might have written a last minute ending.
