well they tried to wait until adam west was dead, but finally gave up. there were apparently legal hassles, and they for years they thought the show would affect the seriousness of the film series. even after chris o'donell said "holy rusted metal!" in batman forever. conan o'brian has been twittering the sh-t out of this! i want the ultimate box set, with a pop-up batcave with poles and a study, and a pop-up aunt harriet keeping bruce & dick from showering together

DC is making a big deal out of this. They've got action figures in the TV style and the Batman '66 series with new stories in the Adam West style.
You can even play as the Adam West Batman in the new Batman game. Of course, it looks like he's from some bizarre alternate reality where Jason Statham played in the series instead of Adam West.

DC is making a big deal out of this. They've got action figures in the TV style and the Batman '66 series with new stories in the Adam West style.
You can even play as the Adam West Batman in the new Batman game. Of course, it looks like he's from some bizarre alternate reality where Jason Statham played in the series instead of Adam West. batman is short & bald with a derbyshire accent?! dang, hadn't heard about the game. looks like they realized there is $$$ to be made off the old series, finally. anyone ever seen this short film with adam west as bruce wayne/batman and mark hamill as the joker? trippy.

The game has different skins for Batman like Batman Beyond, Dark Knight Returns, Animated version, etc. One is the Adam West costume, but he looks as big and gruff as the others!  |

Yeah, that is weird. All the other Batmen look how they're supposed to. Then BAM! Adam West on steroids.

I kind of like it. It looks like Batman forgot his batsuit and had to make do with a costume he snatched from a cosplay shop somewhere. The BtAS skins are the ones that looks jarring. Also, the Adam West costume reminds me of the classic costume from X-Men Origins - Wolverine:  |
