This episode is being hailed by a lot of critics as the best of the season so far. And the ending certainly was brilliant. My daughter was literally jumping down with excitement.
One thing bugged me, though. What the hell was that thing in Rupert Pink's bed?

yeah, that bugged me too. It was blurred but it looked like it wasn't human, and when it disappeared there was a flash of blue light. Since the episode was written by Moffat, I'm guessing it ties in with a future episode and he's just planting seeds.

The only other thing I can figure is that the Doctor's mind is so powerful he made them all see it since the thing under the bed was his fear. Of course, then there's the matter of Rupert's bed spread dissappearing...

Nice play on "terror" without being gory -- kinda like "Blink" did...only not as good I think.
