anyone excited about new shows or new tv episodes? i'm hoping the new american horror story will be good. i ain't overly excited about anything else except dr. who, which has already begun. i'm cautiously optimistic about sleepy hollow. it'd be so easy to screw it up this season. oh, and lucy lawless joining the cast of 'agent's of shield'? i am there!

I'm excited about Hellblazer and somewhat excited by Flash and Forever.
I have been enjoying Z Nation and NCIS New Orleans because mostly because of the cast.

S.H.E.I.L.D.Shadows: GOTHAMPilot: - I already know one person who's ready to throw the kid playing Bruce, under the bus. Being that this show is not about Bruce -- I have no problem with the kid playing him.
- It was pretty good for a pilot episode. It had a lot to set up -- and for those who aren't as knowledgeable about the DCU, I think it did pretty good. My husband figured out Oswald himself (before anyone said the word penguin) and Catwoman was so damn obvious he called that one out in less than 15 seconds in. BUT -- like I said, it was pretty good. I'll give it a "B" and we'll be back next week.
- I have a feeling things will slow down a bit -- as far as character/villain intros go -- and we'll get more into Gordon and how he sees Gotham.
- TONS of Easter Eggs.
Selina Kyle: - I like the kid they got to play Selina. Her interaction with every copy she's come across was great -- and just like what I would picture a grown Selina to be as "Catwoman".
- I'm still not sure what they're trying to do with Alfred here. I'm not sure I'd ever buy that he would have shaken Bruce or yelled at him like that -- but then again, I'm not an expert in Batman/Bruce lore when it comes to Alfred.
- Did you catch the glowing, green "Q" on the building? Perhaps for Queen?
- I also found it amusing that the used a Trident in the logo for a company.
- The thing that bothered me the most -- was the way they handled Fish's monologue about how she's going to kill Falcone and that she didn't make Penguin suffer enough. The look and feel of it was just so off. I'm not blaming Jada Smith for it -- it's probably how she was told to work the scene but it didn't work for me -- on any level. Her freak out after Falcone left the club didn't bother me...but that did. It feels like she's trying to channel Nichelle Nichols...and I don't like it.

I didn't catch the first episode of SHIELD, so I was really surprised when I watched the second.
"Where the hell is Lucy Lawless?!!"

atched Agents of Shield and Gotham and The Flash, liking the guy who plays Karl Kreel and this new Hydra dude. I kept thinking after seeing the latest episode where the shield woman was brainwashed with the Faustus i think maybe that's how Bucky Barnes was brainwashed
Gotham reminds me of the dark gritty tone of the Dark Knight Trilogy and the guy who plays Gordon i swear he looks familiar i think he was on something else.
I saw The Flash and don't know what villain the guy was since i never collected any Flash comics but can tell he was from the comics. It was good seeing the original Flash on it playing Barry Allen's Father.

As of yesterday, Gotham received 6 more episodes to bring it up to a full 22 episode season.
The Walking Dead has already been renewed for Season 6.
