A replica of the Orient Express travels through outer space with a phantom mummy killing passengers. This is the kind of story you could only get on Doctor Who.
More interesting give and take between the Doctor and Clara. Weeks have passed and their relationship is still strained by the events of last episode. The Doctor comments on her sad smile. They approach this adventure as if it might be their last hurrah. Of course, that changes by the end of the episode'
The mummy can only be seen by those who are about to be killed by it. And every time, it takes exactly 66 seconds between them seeing the mummy and being killed by it.
All in all, I think it was a pretty fun episode.

haven't watched it yet. With Walking Dead back and The Strain getting good (plus I started on Z Nation a couple of days ago), Who seems to have taken a backseat in priority.
Oh and American Horror Story too, I gotta get on that.

A replica of the Orient Express travels through outer space with a phantom mummy killing passengers. This is the kind of story you could only get on Doctor Who. ...and that's why I was really looking forward to this episode! More interesting give and take between the Doctor and Clara. Weeks have passed and their relationship is still strained by the events of last episode. The Doctor comments on her sad smile. They approach this adventure as if it might be their last hurrah. Of course, that changes by the end of the episode' This is really the first time I was unhappy with Clara. Lying to Danny and the Doctor at the end of the episode really put me off. Maybe it's her "addiction" to it all but even so, I didn't like it. The mummy can only be seen by those who are about to be killed by it. And every time, it takes exactly 66 seconds between them seeing the mummy and being killed by it. I still didn't quite understand how it chose its victims (I kept getting interrupted)...or why it was 66 seconds. All in all, I think it was a pretty fun episode. See, if I were recommending this to a friend -- I'd tell them: "Go ahead and watch this one, but there's no rush. If you have other shows you'd rather watch, you can go ahead and watch those first."

dammit!! i was quite excited about the new season, but the freak show aspect of american horror has put me off (kathy bates as a bearded lady? angela basset with 3 boobies?) -- it's well know by those who know me that i shun all human oddity. no sir, i don't like it

I still didn't quite understand how it chose its victims (I kept getting interrupted)...or why it was 66 seconds. it was picking the weakest ones off first. Those with physical or psychological problems. The 66 seconds was how long it took to get them in dimensional phase with it so it could drain their energy.
