I'd heard about that. I'm surprised they made her in her twenties when she's currently a teenager in the comics. Usually, the tv folks think the younger, the better.

interesting. and i'm surprised a major newwork picked it up. i think it's CBS's first superhero series since 'the flash' in 1991!!
btw, i didn't watch "heroes" -- why did it crash & burn like it did? this list (below) rates it beneath 'night man'. for g-d's sakes, friggin' 'night man'!!!!!
ghaaaa!! someone should've shoved that saxophone up his ass!!!

I was really stunned when Nightman got his own series. I would've been stunned to see any Malibu Comics character get a series. I can't believe it lasted two seasons.

man, i lump it in with andromeda, and earth: final conflict. they came all out at about the same time, and all of them sported old tired recycled premises that were better done elsewhere, and early crappy looking cgi. lucky for gene roddenberry he was already dead by the time of andromeda and final conflict ('based' on ideas of his) and didn't have to watch his widow nurse chapel soil his good name thru the muck with those vapid, slickly produced piles of doo doo. i will say that andromeda was the best of the bunch, and i actually liked it. the others i watched out of duty as a superhero & sci-fi fan. i recorded 'nightman' faithfully because i though, "i'd better get it on tape. this shit is never going to see the light of day again"

Heroes had a really strong start, and it was easily one of the best things to watch on TV during its first season. But a combination of poor planning and a writer's strike basically torpedoed the series. It started to go downhill, and had several "jump the shark" moments, before it finally died a merciful death. I think the first season, and maybe also the second, are definite "must-sees," but I would advise anyone not to proceed past that, or you'll be sorry.

I think Heroes is back in 2015 for four months or something like that.
