Mine was pretty crazy. It was 73 degrees here in Birmingham, so I was wearing shorts on Christmas. We had a tornado go through here, so it was pretty crazy. Once the warning has passed, we left my folk's house, but it was still raining in buckets. When my wife tried to rush to get in the car, she bashes her head into the corner of the car door, so she's got a big band-aid over one eyebrow now. People are going to think she either went a round with Rhonda Rousey or I beat her.
My fanboy related gifts were:
The Crisis on Infinite Earths hardcover deluxe addition A A Doctor Who Adipose stress doll an 80 dollar gift card to my local comic shop
the fanirl gifts my daughter got were: A Doctor Who T-shirt Several Doctor Who action figures The Jurassic Park trilogy

har. but i had a really good christmas. it was around fiddy degrees here & sunny. we went for a nice walk! i got pants, thank g-d, a gap gift card, a stack of old comics from a local antique place, my daughter made me a card and gave me a cool adam west batman bank.
my parents and older relatives gave me cards with some fairly fat checks inside. i got my car some new wiper blades. i put them under the tree. my parents are snow birds and are in California right now, so we just stayed home and had lasagna and salad. i REALLY wanted turkey but was over-ruled. and pies and a box of merlot. that made it better. i had a bunch of stuff in my stocking. some candy, a big magnifying glass, dvds and even a box cutter! we watched a lot of old scrooge and christmas movies. it was a relaxing day

I got a few fat checks, too. I'll be using a big chunk of it to get a new TV stand for our den.

MH, if you're taking your laptop with you in the bathroom and listening to radio shows, there's something wrong with your radio. THe only sound coming from your bathroom is FAP! FAP! FAP!.
