i got to admit i wasn't crazy about the film, And that is rare for me to say that about a Superman Film.. The Woman who played Lois Lane was alot older then the guy who played Superman and that was strange to me, I'm just use of the Reeve Superman Films and i knew that it wouldn't be like the Reeve Superman films, but i tried to give the movie a chance but it just had so many flaws to me, One thing the director of the movie said that really bothered me was he thinks their has yet to be a superman film well Superman The Movie & Superman II proves him wrong.. I don't get why general zod had to be the villain when we already had a general zod been done... If they would've used another Superman villain like Brainiac instead then that my like for the film would've increased a little bit.. Brainiac has yet to appear in a live action superman film, I know Warner Bros wasn't impressed with Superman Returns (which i loved that film) but least the movie gave a nostalgic tone of the reeve superman films, And did anyone know Bryan Singer had plans for a Follow up to Superman Returns which would've involved Brainiac being the main villain and Warner Bros did not give Superman Returns a chance so that messed up the chance of brainiac being in a live superman film...
Some scenes i couldn't quite understand. Superman trying to reason with Zod while the city and people were being leveled he should've known Zod wouldn't have a change of heart... then when Superman snap Zod's neck to save the family that Zod was trying to take out with his heat vision then he begins screaming like a damn pussy (Not the Superman i remember) because he regrets killing one of his own kind and maybe that means he prefer Zod to kill the family..
Well with Batman Vs Superman coming out perhaps that one would be better then Man of Steel, I already heard Tom Hanks is one of the actors considered for Lex Luthor so that's some good news about the sequel so far.. And it looks like their going to be skipping Robin again (well sort of this time) Dick Grayson is being considered for the sequel when he's Nightwing... So I'll give the sequel a chance but just would love it if John Williams would be the one who scores the music...
