i heard it was good but not spectacular. i hear the new bond is gonna be black. or possibly chinese or serbo-croation. now daniel craig is obliged to appear in a string of cheap embarrassing films. like timothy dalton in 'beautician and the beast' with fran drescher. and we are obliged to watch them. every one of them

Imaxed it! Don't believe the crap. A lot of the complaints, to me, is that it doesn't replicate the earlier Craig films. They've brought it back to a more traditional Bond formula....More gadgets, one-liners and more stuff with Q, M and Moneypenny.
And an old style Bond villain with a lair and minions.
If you were excited about the set up revealed at the end of Skyfall, then you will enjoy Spectre.

As to Timothy Dalton, check out his role in "Hot Fuzz". And don't forget his greatest role since Bond....Mr Pricklepants!

Dalton was pretty awesome as Rassilon on Doctor Who.

As to Timothy Dalton, check out his role in "Hot Fuzz". And don't forget his greatest role since bond....Mr Pricklepants! i meant to mention that. i originally missed out on "hot fuzz" -- i somehow got the idea it was a film version of "reno 911"!

i didn't realize it was part of simon pegg's 'shaun of the dead', 'run fatboy run' trilogy. but i seen it last month on netfliks and LOVED it!
i watched it over & over. yeah, and dalton looked great. i think he might've been better as bond at that age, or a few years earlier, than in the 90's. fighting pegg at the end he looked tough as hell. all the action scenes in the movie were great -- i think it might even be better than 'shaun of the dead'. having such a stupid title like "hot fuzz" might've hurt the movie. it was practically an unofficial remake of one of my favorite films, 'the wicker man'. it even had edward woodward in it! but with no wicker man

The last in the trilogy is the World's End. A little bit darker than the others, but I loved it: This one has Pierce Brosnan in it.

We picked up the Rassilon figure up at Con Kasterborous. It's a pretty good likeness.
Dalton was really good as Rassilon, but when they did close-ups, you could see him spitting when he talked. Tenant is lucky there weren't any face to face scenes.
