"YIKES!!!" cries babu baboon. "that shark really got pissed at us!"
"and we had such a nice headwind!" exclaims doc quartum. "luckily we landed on this island."
"but where are we?" exclaims super-jesse.
"fly up and find out!" cries mh.
"no!" says super-jesse. "we're on vacation -- and that means a vacation from our powers!"
"that's right!" says doc quartum.
"hah! i lucked out!" exclaims an intern. "no more transcribing for me for a while. lucky i got the winning "monkeyhouse intern vacation ticket!"
"this is jacked up!" says steve. "i'm going to miss comicon!"

"This place is so tropical!" Amber giggles excitedly.
"It's an island... duh!" Steve says.
"Don't be mean to me just because you're afraid to take off your t-shirt because you've got a redneck tan," Amber says.
"It's because I've got very delicate shoulders that burn easily!" Steve exclaims.
"Yeah, me too," Gill says, holding his gut self conciously.
"So no on e else is curious where we are?" Babu says irately.
"We're on a tropical island. That's good enough for me," MH says. "Plus, we managed to salvage the beer and malt liquor."
Babu turns to SuperJesse. "You know, you could have taken that shark out with one punch, Mr. I'm-taking-a-vacation-from-my-powers." Jesse just shrugs.
"AH, the hell with it," Babu says, taking to the air. He flies away from the island for a bit before he sees another island ahead of him. When he looks down, he sees the Monkey Alliance and Amber looking up at him. "Dammit!"
He flies on until he sees another island ahead of him. When he flies over, he sees the Monkey Alliance and Amber looking up at him again.. "Dammit!"
He does this three more times until he finally gives up and lands. "Bad news, guys."
"What is it?" Doc Quantum says.
"I think this island is like that one on 'Lost'," Babu says.
"Now I'm REALLY never going to make it to Comicon!" Steve groans.

"shhhhh!!! you wanna watch that stuff!" whispers an agitated doc quantum. "babu, that's copyright infringement! cameras are everywhere these days. we're not just superheroes. we're celebrities. we gotta think of something else."
as everyone stares, doc sulks.

on the way to the boat dock in hairbutt's borrowed dodge ram, mh spies two nubile females and pulls alongside.
"hello ladies!" exclaims mh. "if you wanna jump in the back we'll give you a ride and save some wear and tear on those sun kissed thighs of yours! obviously you recognize us ..."
"we recognize you guys alright, "begins the one nearest. "you bunch of has-beens! back when we were kids and ronny mcface was in the monkey alliance, you were cool!"
"sellouts!" cries the other one.
mh stops the truck, and lets them walk past.
"don't take it so hard pal, "says babu, concerned about mh's fragile clone ego.
"yeah what'd thery know?" adds super-jesse. "they was done the rudest gurls to us!"
"i'm just waiting for them to get some distance," says mh with a disturbing giggle.
then stomping the accelerator and awakening the mighty hemi engine that is especially equipped to handle hairbutt's enormous weight ...
"gosh! what blood curdling screams!" exclaims doc quantum, looking back, as they speed away. "the humanity! they're soiled head to toe! they probably even got mud up in their tight places!"

back in the present mh and amber are watching on her phone and gawfawing. "ha! smart-mouthed little hoochies! exclaims amber. "it's already got half a million hits on youtube!"

"What is it?" MH says.
"Were those hoochies heading from that trailer park outside East Justice?" Babu exclaims.
"Yeah," MH says. "What about it?"
"Those were gypsies! They must have put a curse on us!"

"In all this excitement, we didn't notice that Kenny and Buddy are missing!" Babu says.
Their eyes all turn to a pair of tracks going into the jungle. "At least we all know that they didn't go down with the ship," Doc Quantum says.
"Yeah, but they're out there in the jungle! They're innocents!"Babu exclaims. "THey're like two lost pups out there in the wild! We have to go after them!"
"I wuz afraid you were gonna say that," MH says, looking at the thick, forboding jungle.

"lucky we found this machete!" exclaims amber, chopping thru the brush.
"yeah", says mh, "or someone could just slash the foliage with his heat vision."
"you know my powers are done on vacation locky-head!" cries super-jesse.
meanwhile, kenny and buddy enter a clearing and find
"welcome! i am esmeralda!"
"kenny, i think i done felled in love with this gypsy lady." says buddy, starring at esmeralda.
"durn," replies kenny, "she is done fiddy pounds underweight easy! it'll done take a fortune in groceries to done fatten her up."

"drop a coin into zoltan and make a wish ... " murmurs esmeralda, leading them to a coin-op fortune telling machine.
"sure, reckon," says kenny, dropping in a quarter.
"perhaps you want to be big ...", whispers emerald, hiding a smirk behind her hand.
"no," says kenny, i done want you to be big -- i done want you to be a big woman!"
"noooooooooooooo!!!!" cries esmeralda as she changes.
as she heads for them snarling, kenny and buddy, employing their drunken high threshold of pain, hurl themselves from a nearby precipice, romancing the stone fashion.
"you done look better anyway cutie! it's done gotta be jelly 'cause jam don't shake that way!" yells kenny over his shoulder and wolf whistles as they slide down the falls.

meanwhile the other monkey alliance members, worried for steve and gil's health as the rains begin and a chill is in the air, make camp under a tree for shelter, and build a roaring fire.
"i used my heat vision for the fire," says super-jesse, "but that's it!"
"okay, sheesh!" exclaims mh. "a vacation from powers -- kryptonians are so weird. me -- if i even hear a twig break, or a tree frog looks at me wrong, i'm pumpin' slugs! i wish we had more back-up. i wish hairbutt was here. he'd thrive in this place. or skye with her rake."
"what?!!" cries amber. "skye and her stupid rake!!! i've got a machete over here!"
suddenly they all hear a scream.
"what the heck?" rasps steve.
"some animal?" asks babu baboon, peering thru the rain.
"i haven't heard a scream like that since i gained 5 lbs," says amber. "i'd gone thru a bad breakup and i was eating 20 or thirty cups of yoplait a day! i was a mess."
"why would anyone break up with amber," gil whispers to steve, warming himself by the fire. "she's as tan as one of my daddy's loafers!"

screaming, the overweight gypsy disappears in a flash. and meanwhile, near a dock in justice city, two gypsy girls are sitting in a mini cooper looking into a crystal ball and getting the seats muddy. 
"damn!" cries the blonde, very upset. "they escaped! and that's our only trick!!"
"don't despair," says the brunette. "the island is full of mysteries and dangers. they will all perish soon enough. and anyway, how were we to know -- the monkey alliance have their own hobos! it makes no sense. we have a deal with the hobos!"
"those two must have gone rogue," surmises the blonde. "like mages and warlocks do sometimes. that or they've been bewitched. the monkey alliance mud splashers are more cunning than i expected. only the wily mind of a hobo could've seen thru our plot!"
