I tell ya what i sure ain't impressed with the macgyver reboot i'm a fan of the original macgyver series, i seen the previews of the reboot on tv and the director is saying fans will recognized elements from the original but that's not enough to have the same feel as the original macgyver their are stuff that differs from the original macgyver series.
Like the absence of the character Peter Thornton previously portrayed by the Late Dana Elcar
the character was Macgyvers close friend and it's a shame the character won't be in the reboot portrayed by anyone else.
Also the absence of the phoenix foundation that macgyver worked for and Peter running it.
Then theirs the recurring characters from the Original Series like this guy
Jack Dalton
Or her which we all should recognize who should would later portray
These characters absences as well as other characters who have recurred on the original macgyver series does not stick true to the original series on this new reboot.
