i can't believe her mother, old-time film star debbie reynolds outlived her. she was an old lady before i was born!

Dang I didn't see this when I started my own Carrie Fisher thread. Probably since it's on the Star Trek board! Thre are probably trekkies lurking who's heads have exploded
That's got to be tough for Debbie Reynolds. No one should have to outlive their kids. Carrie Fisher lived hard for years, though.

Carrie Fisher may be best known for her acting career, but she made more of an impact in Hollywood than we realized. She was one of the best script doctors in the business, patching up scripts left and right. It takes a truly gifted storyteller well versed in the beats of stories on film to make most screenplays work. She's kind of my hero.

Her tweets were really hard to read with all those funky letters. I haven't seen Rogue One, so I'm not up on what they're talking about with the motion capture.
