www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-inauguration-pageantry-idUSKBN151340
even those (like me) who voted for hillary gotta be pleased beyonce, katey perry singing the national anthem and the cast of hamilton won't be performing tomorrow. right? this is my 2nd favorite choice for an inauguration. the first being if my man bernie had won. it would have been really bleak and socialist! everybody would be dressed nice & plain. sinead o'conner and the red army choir would perform
bernie would have gone all lenin on us! people would be cheering and throwin' their flat hats up in the air. volunteers would set up booths with free cabbages
i'm mostly pleased, but i wish trump had invited kid rock to sing the national anthem. wearing that last shirt

I didn't get to watch it because I've been sick as a dog most of the day.
It seemed like Trump was having trouble booking people and keeping them for a while. I figured by the end of it, it would be a Kid Rock/Ted Nugent double bill.

sorry baboon! you got that damn stomach flu that's going around ?
i liked it better. you don't need those idiots. no more celebrities! i love me some bill clinton, but him and obama are constantly taking off to martha's vineyard to hang out with barbara streisand and steven spielberg. no more! a president goes to friggin' camp david, for crying out loud! have some dignity.
i have some affection for obama, but i was getting pretty sick & tired of paying him to work on his handicap. he basically took the year off! was he training for the seniors tour ?

I think I might have had it. When I wasn't making a mad dash for the porceline god, I was sleeping like Rip Van Winkle. It's like I lost a whole day.
personally, I had some hope for Obama when he first took office but quickly became disillusioned with him. I was absolutely stunned when he won a second term.

yeah it was sort of like south park.
then then next day he walks outside and everything is exactly the same, and he goes,
except for us it took 4 years to figure that out. or five. by then it was too late.

Boondocks did something like that early own. Everyone was outraged that Huey Freeman wasn't excited about Obama, but he figured it would just be politics as usual.

Melania looked hot... and also a little bit like Lady Penelope of THUNDERBIRDS.

Melania looked hot... and also a little bit like Lady Penelope of THUNDERBIRDS. Joss Whedon, a guy who I previously respected because of his work, made an unflattering comparison of Nicole Kidman to Lady Penalope because she said it was time for everyone to accept Trump won and support him.Reading his twitter is like watching a five year old trying to talk politics.

i just looked. painful! they all sound like they binge watched meryl streep's statement at the golden globes 48 hours straight. there was nothing insightful or funny anyplace. liberals have become the close-minded goose-steppers we used to accuse conservatives of being. i don't understand. do these people think voicing the far left political views of celebrities makes them a celebrity too? i'm surprised they haven't begun bashing tom hanks. he went from saying, "trump will be president when spaceships come down filled with dinosaurs in red capes" and lots of other critical, and funny stuff, to, "i hope he does such a good job i vote for him in four years." that's thinking like a realist. a guy on twitter said, "wanting trump to fail, is like wanting the pilot to crash the plane that we all are on." and of course the snowflakes responded with, "some of us chose not to board, bla bla" or "not my pilot, not my plane!" and stuff like that, but he kept coming back, "like it or not, you're on it!"

Tom Hanks is considered the nicest guy in Hollywood and generally well liked by both sides of the aisle. They're probably scared to bash him.
The thing the snowflakes and celebrities don't seem to realize is that behaving the same way and spouting the same rhetoric is going to give Trump 8 years. We might even see a President Pence.
Merryl Streep was so far up her ass during her speech that she didn't realize she was doing the same thing that put Trump in office..... looking down on the average joe while patting herself and her Hollywood friends for being so much better than the common man.
