This past week, old age caught up with one of the baboon hounds. Bandit was over 18 years old, so it was a long time coming. It was still a gut shot when it happened. Towards the end, he was so feeble I had to hold him over his water dish just so he could drink, so it was obvious he wasn't going to get any better. Having to make that call still sucked.
In the past few months, we've aquired a new puppy, Gizmo. THe vet says she's at least three fourths Pekinese and she's hyper as hell. This means the remaining baboon hound now has a Scrappy Doo like sidekick. I hope that doesn't mean the Monkey Alliance has jumped the shark.
