like using the wrong pronoun. depp's reputation really got tarnished. it didn't help that he's a relatively weird guy. the press smelled blood & piled on him. we used to get people magazine in the break-room, and the depp abuse allegations splashed the cover of every issue for a while. his exgirlfriend was quite chatty! there was one cute girl there who really liked depp, and would read them hard from cover to cover, and then just freak out. "she's lying! i'd like to choke that b-tch!" and on & on. wow, turns out she was right! i never really believed it either. you never know, but it just didn't sound like him
