Fans are pissed and rightly so. Instead of caving to the weirdos on twitter, Disney should have stuck by the actress who has helped make the Mandalorian a success. Instead, they continue to throw away what little good will they managed to win back. Now, fans are showing how they feel and #CancelDisneyPlus is trending heavily on twitter.

Yeah, Gina’s fans far outnumber those lunatic leftists trying to cancel her. Disney is stupid to piss off paying customers like this. Plus, what she pointed out was real, and it’s happening again now.

A better comparison (and less triggering) would probably have been the McCarthy era. Alan Dershowitz, who lived through it, said the current cancel culture feels just like it. Only this time, it's not the government. The people are doing it to themselves.
Like mad dogs, these people eventually turn on each other when they don't have a target anymore and the smell of blood is still in their nostrils. Leftist celebs are quick to turn around and start whining about the dangers of cancel culture when it turns on them. ... even when their own keyboard is still warm from posting on twitter.

i love crazy little 'lgbt insulting' ben shapiro, but what can he do for her really? if she did a film for him, what would the budget be & where would it air? lifetime? i don't know anything about his production company or ever heard he was involved in films at all until this week.
this sucks!! i only tuned into mandalorian because of captain apollo creed. but quickly i began to love the big girl. she's a fun character. i wish she hadn't posted the nazi pic, that probably sealed her fate. i'd like to see some cast mates defend her, but that is probably not likely. apollo creed needs to sock some money away for his old age

I think the Daily Wire has only been involved in one other movie, so it's a new area for them. Smartasses on the site formerly known as Newsarama before Games Radar swallowed it were trying to compare it to the Christian movies Kevin Sorbo and Dean Cain are doing. First, Ben Shapiro is a Jew. Second, Gina Carano is an action star (and former MMA hamp). She aint doing no Lifetime movie.
By the end of the year, all Hollywood movies are going to be wokefests starring stunnig and brave women, their non-threatening nerdy black guy friends, and the soyboys in their lives. If guys like Ben Shapiro can come up with something... anything.. to be a tolerable alternative, then I'm all for it. Otherwise, I'm stuck scanning streaming channels for anything made before 2016.
