Tomorrow sees the release of Afterlife With Archie #1, in which zombies rise and take over Riverdale. And what leads them to this situation? Mourning the loss of his beloved dog, Jughead using the magic of Sabrina The Teenage Witch to bring his dear departed Hotdog back from the dead.
And how is she doing it? With, it seems, the Necronomicon, the Book Of The Dead, the fictional grimoire invented by HP Lovecraft. Now owned by Sabrina The Teenage Witch.
Basically, tomorrow’s Archie comic is a crossover with The Evil Dead.

i really can't beleive this sh-t. i get that everyone is jumping on the damn
zombie bandwagon (i love vampyrs, but am so glad twilight (and hopefully
soon vampyr diaries) is dead. but who has been buying archie comics all
these yrs?!! they're at the supermarket checkout like 'the enquirer' -- are
they being purchased by lonely housewives in love with coach cleats or
mister weatherbee ? but y'know, the zombie jughead is kind of cool. i
hope he grabs reggie by the head and just pulls the damn thing off
(mr weatherbee is just POURED into those pants)

I read that this is the first Archie book ever that wasn't "All Ages". There's a twisted part of me that actually wants to read this.

just read it in the supermarket while the checker is ringing up
yer double-cola, pot pies, and whatever other foods stuffs is
enjoyed in the baboon home. if i see it, i will likely do the
same

I'm curious if this will be sold in the same place as other Archie books since it's not All Ages. It's weird to think of Archie going that way.
What next? Dilton starts making meth and morphs into a drug kingpin?
