That's pretty trippy. A lamp out of place can bee seen as an accident. But a lamp pot or light switch? It could explain why Kubrich seemed like he was trying to make Shelley Duvall have a mental breakdown for real. (which she eventually did)

and kubrick was too exacting a filmaker to make those sort of mistakes. he wasn't rob zombie! there must have been a motive. i don't really buy the theory, but is an interesting & creepy idea. i don't completely discount it. and some people now say kubrick "runned her crazy". over my life, i've has two teachers & three bosses who tried a lot harder than that to runned me crazy, but i'm okay

I had some bosses like that, too. I think they might have successfully runned me crazy. I think we did a story abot it on the original writer's board where I lefy adverrtising to pursue my dream of being a titty bar reviewer.
