It does look pretty cool. Maybe if Godzilla's a hit, we'll see a Mothra movie next.
Or Gamera! Kids love Gamera! That always threw me. He was smashing everything, but he couldn't be all bad... because kids loved him!

kids just love turtles!! they can't help it. i think gamera is the one moshmouth lieked! it was great the way he spins around & around when he flies. he was my favorite Japanese monster. i know you are done a mothra man

Saw this in a cinema the other day when we saw Lord of the Rings 2. Very moody. It follows the Japanese tradition of concentrating on the horrific impact a giant monster has upon the people of the city, rather than focussing on the monster. (I assume this perspective comes about from Hiroshima and the ripples this sent through Japanese culture.)
