You would think an NC-17 movie starring Ana De Armas as Marilyn Monroe would be a wonderful gift to men everywhere. It was not!
I'm not even sure why this movie was NC-17. There was one "blowjob" scene, but it was no more graphic or realistic than any fake blowjob simulated by high school students telling a dirty joke in the cafeteria. THere was a lot of nudity, but no more than in any R-rated movie. It was also REALLY unsexy. Every time de Armas gets naked, it's part of some horrible, gut-wrenching experience. MH, I'm sorry to break it to you that there are no tallywhackers in this film.
Basically, this whole thing was one big emotional cock-punch. THey took a lot of liberties with history. Apparently, Marilyn Monroe's own exploitation and spiral into booze and pills wasn't depressing enough, so they felt they needed to kick it up a notch. I challenge anyone to watch this movie and not want to stick your head in the oven afterwards.
