Overall, it's a good book. Isom is a reluctant hero who is called out of retirement as a favor to his sister when a friend of the family goes missing. This book is basically an intro to the Rippaverse, so I hope they can get the price point down for future installments. I felt like I was left a bit hanging by the (non) conclusion. The dialogue was a bit clunky in places, too, but I would give future issues a try. This first book was anough to garner my interest for future chapters.
