i was a bit pissed. she'd made an impact and her career was taking off. but still, just play the damn vulcan! if they'd signed her, she would have had to. robyn curtis (i think that's right) took over. probably a nice lady, and i'm guessing does conventions now, but boring as f-ck as savik. she sure didn't make my pants tight.

I can't remember which came first. Her time on "Cheers" or "Look Who's Talking". Star Trek is a big enough franchise that she should have done it regardless. The lady vulcan in "Undiscovered Country" was originally going to be Savik, too, so she would have had a big arc.

i didn't know that about "undiscovered country". she was so good they would have worked around whatever else she was doing. according to imbd, the first thing she did after 'khan' was a love boat!
i did a google search. goddammit, it was shatner! why always shatner? or the money. pay the girl! she wanted as much money as deforest kelly? i didn't want to see deforest kelly naked! nimoy, that 3 men and a baby directing bastard, needed to write her a damn check!
