i didn't believe this number at first. but apparently comparing sales to the same time last year that's what happened. why do companies keep doing this sh-t?!! anyhoo, buckle up, this might be long. me & a friend have begun going out the eat every couple weeks or so. he called and i suggested hooters! he said ok. the last time we went we had a little perky blond server with a real big hind end! she was in her 20's everywhere else, but he butt belonged to a 37 yr old housewife who eats too much BBQ! what an enchanting creature. this time the tops were much more revealing than before (warmer temperatures?), and the first one i seen was black (very black) with heaving bosoms as she wiggled around taking orders. "gimme the black one! gimme the black one!" i prayed silently. but no, we got this scrawny little tatooed server, who was nice but did nothing for me. while we were eating i said, "hey, i need some stuff, let's go to target." he was very pleased. you see, my friend worked there while attending college decades ago, and has maintained an affinity for the place. later, after paying the check and staring at the black girl nearly to the point of being creepy, driving to target i told my friend about the LGBT stuff & the 9 billion, and he had no clue! it was all news to him. he didn't look happy. he's a very religious guy too, and is no fan of homosexuality in any form. i felt kind of bad. & elated! see, i knew they had put their 'pride month' display right at the entrance. families began walking in, seeing a bunch of creepy weird sh-t, and walking right back out! now they'd hidden these faggoty rags deep within the recesses of the store. i'd have to hack my way thru cargo pants, boxer briefs, sun dresses, and tube tops to finally unearth king solomon's mine full of sissy clothes! but find them i would!
coming soon, part 2.

I was kind of blown away that this happened with Target. I hate it because I liked going there for t-shirts. The lady in chaarge of their marketing is apparently a real nutjob. From her twitter, she has a real problem with white women.

It's because companies are trying to get a high ESG score. It's also why all of their efforts are just face value. They're all very progressive only in markets that allow it. They won't dare mention a single word when it comes to countries like Saudi Arabia.

i read about the ESG score. they can't borrow money or something if it isn't high. it seems to me like they could have gone all in, in environmental and not caused themselves so many problems.

It's aa weird thing. What good is a high ESG score if you lose all your customers? You might get that loan, but you might end up defaulting on it when you quit making any money.

It's aa weird thing. What good is a high ESG score if you lose all your customers? You might get that loan, but you might end up defaulting on it when you quit making any money. It's another symptom. There are a lot of executives that are not really interested in the customers or the sustainability of the company. They just want to drop in, shake things up and do something really loud and get bonuses, then get out quick and jump into another company where they can do the same thing again. The videogame industry is full of these assholes, why companies like id Software, Blizzard, and EA for that matter used to be known for creativity and innovation but are nowadays full of consumer-unfriendly (and in some countries illegal) business models devised by a revolving door of CEOs with golden parachutes and a complete lack of accountability.
