an incredible scandal in the chess world! "cheating" though? he's a college sophomore who managed to legitimately beat their top female grand masters while wearing sunglasses and a hot uncomfortable full body burka! shouldn't the scandal be that women suck at chess?

It's like one of those 90s movies where they disguise a dog and have him join a hockey team or something. Maybe the guy had a good reason to disguise himself as a female. Like, the chess administrators are prejudiced against males and won't let them play or even watch the games. Also, he's going to use the prize money to help rebuild the orphanage he grew up in.

Cheating seems like the wrong word. He fooled them, but he didn't cheat at chess. All he really need to do is stick to his guns and say, "I'm a gal. Don't deny my truth!" and he can keep the prize money.
