I didn't realize they killed off Connor McCloud on the Highlander tv show! Doesn't exactly mesh with the movies.

Doesn't exactly mesh with the movies. it was a film for cable or straight for vhs after the show had gone off, I'm not sure which. i really think christopher lambert could've taken duncan's ass out. the 'only one' should have been him! but i guess he was worn out from the killings, and the quickening & the bagpipe playing, all all that crap. but i loved the vhs cover

I watched that! I followed the TV series and watched the first two films so I was a fan, even before the Internet came and allowed me to research stuff. I'm particularly fond of how it's like Dragonball Z, in the sense that they use the number of heads collected as an indication of who's better. During Endgame, Connor already had 200+ immortal heads to his name while Duncan had 100+. Their enemy had 600+.
Also, for 10 year old me, the Highlander TV show was free porn. Alexandra Vandernoot was hawt.

indeed. she was. dang that was great era to hit puberty. so many titillating programs. i used to stay up and watch 'silk stalkings' and 'dangerous curves'! oh the mammaries -- i mean memories
