Me neither. He had such a great thing going with the Colbert Show that I'm surprised he'd even want to host the Late Show. CBS must have offered him one hell of a contract.

Last I heard, this was just a rumor. Surprised it turns out to be true!

for cobert, the money will be life changing. yeah, he ain't poor, but we're talking, if things work out, in ten years he'll have paul McCartney money! i mean sh-t, he'll be buying friggin' islands! sorry, i'm trying to calm down. comedy central is comparatively pretty rinky dink. i mean, NBC ended up paying conan O'brian $45 million to just go the hell away

I was reading that there will be some kind of ending for the character that Stephen Colbert plays on The Colbert Report. He's probably going to be killed off, or maybe somehow morph into the "real" Stephen Colbert.

I don't watch Letterman or Leno. Most of the late night guys I watch on the internet. My favorite is Craig Ferguson.

I'd like to see him fight a bear.
