yeah, all in all i think insidious was better. it is the same director (james wan sp?) and I saw someplace it was the same house!
did you see insidious 2? the trailer looks pretty good

Insidious 1, 2, and Conjuring were all good horror films, but I got scared by Conjuring the most. Insidious 2 was better than 1, but you kinda need to watch the first one to get the full effect.
All three films seem to be the perfect balance between asia's slow burn approach to horror and hollywood's more straightforward scares. And I'm glad there was no gore. I'm not squeamish, but lately it looks like gory scenes have become this generation's bullet time.

Yeah, I can't watch shit like this.
However, The Walking Dead and Penny Dreadful are no problem.
Go figure.

I've become numbed to gorey movies. The suspenseful ones are a lot more frightening.
