I can't believe he's dead. I'd hoped he would recover. At one time, there was talk of both him and Shatner having cameos in the next Trek film.
Nimoy was considered the honorary leader of the cast and crew and helped lobby for Nichelle Nichols to get a pay raise when it came out she was earning significantly less

i think it had. this was probably when they smash it with a bottle of champagne to launch, or whatever they did to shuttles back then. i wonder where "bill" was?! probably doing some damn game show
here's the "decommissioned" enterprise years later. i guess the proud old bird was being put into dry dock

When i was in walmart the other day i picked up the Star Trek 4 Movie DVD Set that is a walmart exclusive.
