When Amazing Spider-man 1 first came out it praised it but than ever since Amazing Spider-man 2 came out it wasn't well loved than the first one gets slammed as well. But i loved both of the films including the Original Spider-man trilogy with Toby Mcguire or Tobi Mguire in it.

But it looks like their still doing the planned Sinister Six Spin-off though which is good.

i'm surprised! i had no idea the second andrew garfield movie bombed. was he disliked as spiderman? i remember thinking the first one was quite good -- i can't remember if i even saw the second one. maybe that's the problem. it didn't generate "winter soldier" type heat. marvel can afford to be choosy, and just kill a franchise that isn't a monster hit. unlike dc, which is planning to dump money into the lame ryan reynolds green lantern franchise. unbelievable
