the last big horror star on the face of the planet! g-d must feel sort of like he did when the dinosaurs died
i just realized -- there are no new horror stars coming up. none at all! maybe if patrick Wilson from insidious made fiddy more horror movies he'd deserve an honorable mention

I visited another site about him and this comics pro was talking about how as a kid in the 70s, he used to write in all the time and tell them who they should use in a Batman movie. He told DC they should make a Batman movie with Christopher Lee as Ras Al Ghul. That would have been epic.

yeah, he was beyond physically perfect for the part. at almost 6ft 5, and his voice and commanding presence. i wonder if it's possible neal adams based his drawings on lee?
if they'd done it in the early 70's -- wow, just imagine. but who for batman? adam west was still "batman" to most people then. i tend to go to the mat for west -- but even if they got him in the gym and dyed his hair black, west wouldn't have fit the o'neil/adams mold of batman. just prior to the tv series, word is that dc comics had mike henry (former tarzan) making appearances as batman to drum up support for a serious batman series. he was a dead ringer for the neal adams caped crusader
(excuse ther perno)
sadly, a pichur of mike henry in costume has never been discovered, but here's a fake someone did. could he have pulled off bruce wayne? maybe.

Henry would have been great, too. It's surprising they didn't try to do a serious Batman movie after the success of Superman.
The same guy suggested Jack Nicholson for the Joker! Young Nicholson would have been way better than old Nicholson!
