While "Doctor Who" is finishing up filming for season 9, its approximate air date may have been revealed by producer Nikki Wilson on Twitter.
A fan asked Wilson for the premiere air date of "Doctor Who" season 9, and to many people's surprise, the producer answered the question!
"We'll be back in September," tweeted Wilson, though it was later deleted.
A popular theory is that "Doctor Who" season 9 will have its air date on Sept. 5, due to the way the schedule will line up.
"I'm betting on Sept. 5 personally, as that would land episode 9 on Oct. 31, and considering Mark Gatiss said he would be writing a scary episode for this series, I'm inclined to believe it is meant to be aired on Halloween," commented Pile of Bad Things on Doctor Who TV.
"Either way, I'm hoping for no later than Sept. 5."
