Who has ever seen Astro Boy? well the original one I first saw it on Adult Swim when they use to air it, It originally first aired in the US in the 70s on Ted Turner's TBS. Love it

Ah correction the anime debuted in the US on NBC in the 60s but it was TBS that first aired reruns of it in the 70s

Astro boy has been along for a long time! In addition to the original 50s-60s series, there was the revival in the 80s, the 2000s, and a 2009 movie. THere's supposed to be a 2015 series as well as a live action movie coming up.

I read on Wikepedia that he was originally called The Mighty Atom in Japan. That acually sounds cooler.

they should show those, i enjoy astro boy. I think it might've been on Netflix before. turner classic movies are also showing the old 1949 batman & robin serial on saturdays. i'm diggin' it like crazy!

astro boy makes me think of starman from "the evil brain from outer space"! ever see it? if only starman would join the monkey alliance
